<p>Do it early in the morning on an empty stomach when you first wake up for best results. This is best for fat loss if that is your goal. If you can&#8217;t do it at this time, don&#8217;t worry about it. If you need something in your stomach first as you might feel sick on an empty stomach, eat something simple like a banana.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s best to not exercise at a constant pace throughout the workout. That&#8217;s an outdated technique that is not as good for you as using interval training. Interval training means that you have periods where you go slower and faster speeds.</p>

While I&#8217;m not aiming to offend anyone, as far as I&#8217;m concerned, the average person has absolutely no idea whatsoever regarding cardio, and while I&#8217;m on the topic, don&#8217;t kid yourself by thinking that all you need to do, is to keep your heart rate down below 160bpm, also known as &#8220;steady state cardio&#8221;. In fact, I&#8217;m going to point out exactly, what a load of rubbish such advice is. Additionally, if you think you can use one of those fancy machines that supposedly give you the six-pack of your dreams, forget it because all you&#8217;ll be doing is wasting your money and peeing into the wind.</p>
<p>First, let&#8217;s take a look at the different cardio exercises:</p>
<p>1) LIT or SS (Steady State or Light Intensity cardiovascular exercise)<br />
<br />This is the form of cardio which I have mentioned above, requiring you to keep your heart rate below a certain limit, ideally between 120 and 140 beats per minute. Typically the exercises are not very tiring at all so this allows you to have lengthy sessions, perhaps the main reason it is the option of choice between fat people. Ironically, these same people have not even lost an ounce of their body fat so yes; I do believe I have a strong case in saying that steady state cardio is rubbish. To strengthen my argument even more, this form of cardio causes a drop in your testosterone levels which further jeopardizes the fat burning process.</p>
<p>2) MIT (Medium Intensity cardiovascular exercise)<br />
<br />Telling yourself you&#8217;re doing &#8220;medium intensity&#8221; cardio is really only a way to make yourself feel better. After all, it&#8217;s not like you&#8217;re doing low intensity exercises so you&#8217;re not at the bottom of the ladder. I really hate to burst anyone&#8217;s bubble but unfortunately, if we&#8217;re honest with ourselves, MIT is simply a fancy name for aerobics</p>
<p>3) HIT (High Intensity cardiovascular exercise)<br />
<br />Okay, now we&#8217;re starting to talk. Firstly, let me point out that your growth hormone is one of the most essential hormones regarding fat loss, so if we could really get this growth hormone pumped up, that would be ideal. Well, fortunately we can, with a little help from some Lactic Acid, but why am I even mentioning all this? Simply because this is exactly what happens, when you train in this zone. With HIT, we work our way up from an aerobic level to an anaerobic level and it&#8217;s at this stage that where our lungs cannot produce sufficient oxygen. When this happens, our bodies respond to the crisis by producing exactly what we&#8217;re after, and that is, Lactic Acid. The process will continue until your levels of Lactic acid are so high that you simply cannot continue at the same pace any longer. At this point, you start to cool down.</p>
<p>4) HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)<br />
<br />If this is a favourite zone of yours then I&#8217;m pleased to say, we both dance to the same tune. While many argue that interval training can be applied to MIT as well as HIT, I personally can&#8217;t see the point so I&#8217;m not going to bother wasting your time or mine by discussing it here. So what is HIIT? Just as the name implies, it requires you to train in intervals. An example of this would be to jog 50 meters and then sprint 100 metres. Of course, you do need to do a few repetitions in order for it to be effective but I&#8217;m sure you know that already. Now, before you start wondering why this is not widely practiced, I&#8217;ll tell you. First and foremost, it&#8217;s downright tiring and extremely strenuous. Secondly, because the average trainer has not made a point of keeping ahead of the times and still believes steady state cardio to be just as effective. The hard truth however, is that high intensity interval training has been scientifically proven to be the most effective.</p>
<p>Why I personally recommend HIIT?<br />
<br />Simply because it burns fat and it does so in the shortest possible time. Some forms of HIIT such as a Tabata only last for four minutes and yet you&#8217;ll burn an unbelievable amount of calories, in addition to building endurance. Because so many trainers are in disagreement with this, they tell students that only low intensity training will burn fat, while HIT or even HIIT will only build endurance. It&#8217;s hardly surprising then that this question keeps coming up, so let me put the record straight. The human body always gets its energy from glycogen and fat. In the case of low intensity training, your body gets energy from fat. In the case of high intensity training, your body gets energy from glycogen. Understandably this may all sound like a contradiction so let me briefly explain. In order to maintain your current weight, you need to consume a certain amount of calories. If you&#8217;re not consuming enough calories and/or you&#8217;re doing cardio, your body will be forced to burn fat but unfortunately, in most cases, it burns muscle as well. Whether your body burns fat or whether it burns glycogen, the important thing is, its not getting enough calories. You can be rest assured, if your body burns up glycogen, it will use an abundance of calories to replace it again which in turn means, your body in then forced once again to start burning fat.</p>
<p>Another common question I get all the time is, how can you burn fat with just four minutes of HIIT? To answer this, let me just say that depending on which form of Tabata you do, will determine which muscles are being used. With HIIT, these muscles are required to work extremely hard which in turn burns calories. In addition, this heavy form of training causes our bodies to produce lactic acid and as I mentioned earlier, this boosts our growth hormone which is of course, a key player in loosing fat.</p>
<p>Okay, so what case do I have for recommending HIIT? Simple! Its burns fat at a phenomenal rate, it doesn&#8217;t meddle with your testosterone levels and of course, you can&#8217;t say you don&#8217;t have the time because after all, it only takes a few minutes.</p>

<p>When it comes to exercise; you can achieve the best results and become a fit and healthy you, when you incorporate the 3 exercise components into your fitness routine; resistance training, aerobic or cardiovascular exercise and flexibility or stretching. Of the 3 components, cardio is the most common, especially among women. But whether you are a man or a woman, the American Heart Association recommends a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise 5 or 6 days per week to maintain good cardiovascular health.</p>
<p>Studies have shown that for the general population even if you have to break up the 30 minutes into 5 or 10 minute blocks you will still receive positive health benefits. So lack of time is not an excuse and you can start a cardio program simply by walking. Experts recommend 10,000 steps per day which equals 5 miles. Though that sounds like a lot, it is doable with some simple changes in your every day routine. It is a good idea to invest in a pedometer to see how many steps you actually take. To get to that 10,000 step mark try these easy tips and watch your steps add up: park in the back of the parking lot, instead of using drive throughs get out of your car and walk inside, always take the stairs, when possible walk to a co workers office instead of sending a text or email and go for a brisk walk at lunch time!</p>
<p>If you are a more advanced exerciser try varying your cardio intensity throughout the week. I like to break up cardio exercises into light, medium and high intensity days to avoid burn out and over training. Light cardio intensity is great when you want to do cardio right after a strength training session. Otherwise for maximum benefit alternate medium and high intensity days with your strength training days. Change up the intensity with these cardiovascular activities;</p>
<p>1. High Intensity Cardio &#8211; up to 45 minutes</p>
<p>Alternate intense work intervals w/ recovery intervals using any kind of cardio exercise (for example: sprint for 1 minute then walk or jog for 2 minutes)</p>
<p>2. Medium Intensity Cardio &#8211; 45 to 60 minutes</p>
<p>Activities such as general exercise classes, running, treadmill, elliptical, bike</p>
<p>3. Light Intensity Cardio &#8211; 30 to 90 minutes</p>
<p>Activities such as walking, easy jogging, yoga, Pilates</p>
<p>To ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your cardiovascular training it is a good idea to vary your routines, intensity and equipment! Give it a try for a month and you will be amazed at the results! Of course always begin each session with a warm up for 8 to 10 minutes and end with a full body stretch and cool down!</p>

<p>Liver pain is on the right side, mostly right under the rib cage, and up. There can be free fluid around the liver in the abdominal cavity which will produce pain in the right shoulder. It probably hurts to breathe in, or cough. Sometimes people describe the feeling as a swollen full feeling or cramping under the rib cage.</p>
<p>Liver pain symptoms are often dismissed because it is a general belief that organs don&#8217;t hurt. If you are experiencing any of these sensations, don&#8217;t give up, and don&#8217;t think you are making it up. Liver Pain can be real. Rheumatologists, nephrologists, family practitioners, all have been known to dismiss liver pain as patient complainings.</p>
<p>Sometimes it feels like your liver just doesn&#8217;t fit under your rib cage. One person described it as feeling like a brick was tucked under their right rib. Sometimes the feeling is connected to a pain in the back as well.</p>
<p>Pain caused from a swollen liver is not necessarily sharp. Most of the time &#8216;liver pain&#8217; is just a dull ache. Sometimes the sensation is wrongly attributed to fibromyaliga.</p>
<p>The cause of Liver Pain may be more easily identified by identifying other symptoms, such as fatigue, itching, swollen testes, difficulties breathing, eating problems, or even shoulder pain.</p>
<p>There can be many reasons for liver pain. Blood and urine tests help to identify problems in the liver, but don&#8217;t rule out the effects of barrage of pollutants and toxic substances in today&#8217;s environment. While the liver was designed to detoxify and rid the body of foreign chemicals, it may not be equipped to handle the barrage of pollutants and toxic substances in today&#8217;s environment. So, while you are checking for possible causes of the pain associated with the liver, it would be a good idea to check your body for chemical overload as well.</p>
<p>Individual reaction to toxic overload can vary greatly. The most common symptom associated with toxic overload is fatigue. Other symptoms include headache, muscle and joint pain, irritability, depression, mental confusion, gastrointestinal and/or cardiovascular irregularities, flu-like symptoms or allergic reactions including hives, stuffy or runny nose, sneezing and coughing which is not usually associated with liver pain, but can actually be the cause.</p>
<p>Like all other pain symptoms in the body, liver pain should be taken seriously.</p>

<p>The secrets of effective body shaping for women must first start with a clear understanding of the term&#8217;s meaning. All too often the term is misused and confused with other fitness related phrases or activities. This is one of the untold reasons why so many women never achieve the body shaping results they desire and deserve.</p>
<p>Body shaping is not bodybuilding, power-lifting, or weight training. These forms of exercise are not for everybody &#8211; but body shaping can be, especially for women who are not satisfied with the shape of their body.</p>
<p>Too fat and flabby or too skinny and unshapely? A well structured body shaping exercise program can be the missing link between you and the sexy body you desire and deserve.</p>
<p>Body shaping is the wise use of certain principles of exercise, fitness and smart nutrition to manifest desired changes in the body. Much too often, the term is confused with other types of exercise programs that are not conducive to firming and shaping the female body, safely and efficiently.</p>
<p>There are several elements of body shaping, although not all elements apply to all women. Fat removal, cellulite reduction, skin tightening, feminine muscle shaping, inches lost, changes in body composition levels, shaping curvy thighs or a rounder butt, toning up the arms and shoulders, losing stomach flab &#8211; these can all fall under the heading of body shaping for women.</p>
<p>Two ladies with very different goals can follow the same type of fitness program while adhering to nutritional plans that are structured to be in line with their goals, and dependent on their starting points, with measurable progress and consistent success.</p>
<p>A woman who is sixty-three pounds over weight and wanting to lose body fat has the same &#8216;body&#8217; (a human body) as a woman who is slightly under weight and wants to gain some muscle weight, through body shaping exercises, while improving her overall level of fitness. Although there may be differences in natural abilities of coordination or strength they can both do the same exercise routine. Differences in caloric intake and the quality of foods eaten will be the factor that brings each of these women closer to their individual body shaping goals.</p>
<p>Cardiovascular exercise may be slightly different. The woman who wants to lose body fat to achieve body shaping results, will devote a larger amount of time to cardiovascular exercise (25 &#8211; 40 minutes) as compared to the woman who wants to build up certain areas of her body to become more shapely(15 &#8211; 25 minutes).</p>
<p>Some body shaping programs try to combine the resistance exercise with cardiovascular exercise. While this is not easy, and most programs fall short of doing this successfully, it is possible &#8211; especially when the body shaping program uses body-weight exercise principles.</p>
<p>A body shaping program is not usually found in the gym setting. You either have individual programs of weight training and machine exercises or large group classes doing some form of aerobics with some basic body shaping moves. True body shaping takes advantage of gravity, body-weight and kinesiology to bring about changes in the female body through full body conditioning and targeted muscle shaping exercises and workouts. When these factors are combined properly, you can realistically expect to see definite results within three to four weeks &#8211; especially when a moderate amount of attention is payed to nutritional intake and daily calories.</p>
<p>The best body shaping programs should be portable &#8211; meaning you can do them anywhere and anytime. Leaving no room for the typical excuses of not sticking with &#8216;the program&#8217; and allowing you to make continuous progress toward the body shaping goals you have defined for your self.</p>

HIIT is a form of cardio which is beneficial to burning fat in a short and intense workout. Usual HIIT sessions may vary from 15-30 minutes. Most HIIT sessions have a 2:1 ratio in terms of time. For example, for running, a HIIT session may be something as 60 seconds jog, 30 seconds sprint.&#8221;</p>
<p>Now that&#8217;s right from Wikipedia. In the Zumba dance workout you lose weight because each song is selected for its particular speed. So in the beginning of the class you will find yourself dancing to a slower pace song. Then as the class progresses the songs played have a faster beat &#8212; this is what creates the intensity.</p>
